While transitioning this blog from Blogger to WordPress, I’ve read a lot of my old posts, and there are a few topics I am going to make off limits from here on out.
First, no more talk about being stressed, tired, stress and tired, or feeling “off.” Ugh. Enough of that. If I would have tagged every time I wrote about one of those topics, it would be half of my blog. It’s embarrassing.
No more lists, okay… I can’t do this 100%, but no more house cleaning lists! Book lists and movie lists are still okay. C’mon… it’s the best I can do. No one needs to know when I do my laundry. Or scrub the floors. Or take out the trash.
I bore myself. Don’t get me wrong, there are a few interesting posts in there, but the 30,000 foot view is a blur with uninteresting stuff. I may not be a great blogger, but I commit to an increase in quality from here on out. This post marks the end of that crap.

I haven’t blogged since early March? Yikes. I need to get on this.
Since March:
- Antonio is on two more medications/remedies
- My sleep test came back ok for apnea, but I have decreased stage 3/4 sleep
- My thyroid levels came back borderline, might be hypothyroid
- I’ve been working out for 3+ weeks, and I’m starting to notice changes
- Been eating a lot of salad
There you go. You’re up to speed. I’ll think of something more interesting soon. Promise.

My car was rummaged through again last week. I’d like to tell you when it occurred, but since I rarely drive anymore, I just can’t be sure. Do I lock my car? Yep. Did I leave my car unlocked? Possibly.
I’d like to say that I was horrified or violated… or affected somehow, but the truth is that after doing a quick mental inventory of the items in (or not in) my car, I cleaned up and shrugged it off.
It’s amazing how eight years of living in Baltimore can change someone. Not that this is by any means a representation of how much I’ve changed, but it’s telling. I don’t really care anymore. When all was said an done, I tossed the papers back into my glove compartment, the chargers back into my center console, took note that I’m down about $1.50 in change, and moved on.
At least they left my collection of Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons…

I would be perfectly contented living in a place where it was always Spring. I’d manage the chill, dance in the rain, stomp in puddles, and hell… I never really liked myself in shorts anyway.

By the way, before I get into this post, I would like to agree that I have been a terrible blogger. God awful. I know. I’m determined to do better by the 5 people who might actually read my blog anymore. So there you have it. I’m sorry. Let’s move on…
So, a few thoughts on moving… I absolutely had no choice today but to throw away all of the St. Jude’s free address labels that I’ve been hoarding (yes, hoarding) for the past five years. YAY! Whether I sent money or not (mostly not), I have no need to feel guilty anymore because I’m not using something that I didn’t pay for. What a relief! It’s such a weight lifted off of my shoulders! I wonder how long until I get them at the new address… Christmas?
Another interesting observation: I had to pay a bill (Patient First) with an actual check today. Remember checks? I’m not actually sure where my checkbook is at this point, but I came across a new box of checks with… you’ve got it… my OLD address on them! And here’s the kicker: I spent FIVE years working my way through the checks with my old, old address on them, so I wonder how long I have to live here before I make it through this box… ah, well.
